She ended up taking her own life when she was just 5 which left her family devastated and heartbroken. Anna had to grow up through a variety of challenges. Jim Rawson, a former Glenelg footballer as well as a lover of sports himself, was the father to Anna. Anna confesses that she began playing golf in order to stay near to her dad and brother following her mother's death, but she soon discovered that she enjoyed it (and it was also because cute golfers assisted!) Anna utilized golf as a coping mechanism in times of feeling down about her mother's passing which helped improve her game and eventually allowed her passion to turn into a profession. It was a dream that came true! Rawson was a student at St. Martin Boarding School. She then finished her studies by at-home schooling. Anna states that she selected the school she attended based on her intuition rather than logical reasoning. Though she had numerous invitations to attend top colleges, such as Yale and Harvard University, Immanuel College was chosen because of its superior climate. Anna continued her education at University of Southern California and received the All-Pac 10 on three occasions. Beauty and brains A match that is made for each other!
